Project description
There is a global effort ongoing to implement reliability strategies. Those strategies are describing and summarizing the actions to bring the plant’s reliability to an acceptable level. The strategies are containing a failure analyses and a cost risk calculation. Risks are mitigated to an acceptable level, using spares, periodic maintenance checks, procedures etc. During this intership you will gain hand-on experience working in the field of mainly rotating equipment and heat exchangers and you will be collaborating closely with reliability, maintenance and mechanical engineers. Also including operations, and our remote office in India.

Qualifications
You are currently studying for a master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
You have a good working knowledge of English and some basic understanding in Dutch.
We are looking for assertive, enthusiastic and pro-active people to join our team.

You can start between February-June 2020 for a period of 4-8 months (exact timing and length to be discussed).

What you’ll do:

Our Customer Support Engineers are the front lines in providing remote and on-site technical support and problem-solving of customers installation, application, and configuration of products. The Customer Support Engineer provides on-site hardware and software preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system problems in microprocessor-based computer equipment and configuring systems for operations and support. The position is system-oriented, requiring both hardware and software capabilities and knowledge. Significant direct customer and inter-company interaction are required.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in job-related field or 8-10 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to troubleshoot system problems in microprocessor-based computer equipment and configuration experience.
